I am a Marriage and Family Therapist in private practice specializing in individual, couples and family therapy.
I have been counseling individuals, couples, and families for over 10 years now. I graduated from the University of Florida, specializing in marriage and family therapy, and have worked in many settings with a broad spectrum of clients. My areas of expertise include relationship counseling, divorce recovery work to rebuild your life after divorce, hypnotherapy, stress management, mind/body issues, depression and anxiety, and personal/spiritual growth.
I serve as a member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy at the national and local levels, and as a member of the National Board of Certified Counselors. I have also added hypnotherapy to my practice to further assist you with releasing emotional blocks that hinder traditional talk therapy. I am a certified clinical hypnotherapist through the Wellness Institute in Issaquah, Washington. This certification exceeds the State of Florida requirements to practice hypnotherapy.
As a therapist, I am interactive and collaborative. My therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help you effectively address personal life challenges. With compassion and understanding, I will work with you to help build on your strengths and attain the personal growth you desire.
